Cosmic Enchantress

Concept is #Tanabata and #Burlesque.

During my years in college, I was a member of NAMI a Japanese Culture Organization. Every year we had an event where we showcase the fairy tale that is the Tanabata. I've graduated years ago but I still continue to make a wish every year. Yes, I know it was yesterday.

Let's talk about the design, I wanted something that is flashy, glamorous and a definite showstopper. My inspiration for the skirt is a flowing waterfall. If made this would be multiple layers of tulle or steel wired skirt covered with some galaxy fabric. For the top I wanted it to be sexy but not too much.

I imagine this outfit either being worn by a drag queen or a diva made by the heavens. My favorite part of the outfit is the glowing socks on the left.
